As a Middle School Mathematics Teacher:

This position requires a valid Michigan (secondary) teaching certificate. We will work with individuals that do not possess a Michigan Teaching Certificate but have a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics or a related field for certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid Michigan secondary teaching certificate: EX certification required
· Strong belief that all students can and will be successful
· Strong knowledge of mathematics content
· Able to plan effective, engaging lessons and use data to plan and adjust instruction
· Ability to interact positively and motivate students
· Able to work with colleagues to improve student outcomes
· Willing to accept responsibility for student learning
· Willingness to teach a lesson to students as part of the interview process
